Feature Article Guidelines

·        Article length should run 1,500-2,000 words. Contact your editor if the article is going to be longer than this.

·        Topics must be practical and timely. Article topics usually fall into the research techniques or sources category or library management areas.

·        Please submit copy after verification of all product, company, and contact information. If your article reviews vendor products, you must send your comments to the vendors to be reviewed for factual accuracy. This must be done before you submit your article. Also, provide contact information for each vendor.

·        Please spell-check and proofread before submitting. Double check web site addresses.

·        We prefer articles sent via e-mail (info@alertpub.com) as an attached Word document as our e-mail cannot read MIME format. Please fax a hard copy as well.

·        Please provide us with your title and affiliation to use in signing your work.

·        Should you have any questions or problems, please call 773-525-7594, fax 773-525-7015, or e-mail info@alertpub.com for answers.

We reserve the right to edit articles for style, consistency, and mechanical correctness.
